Across Europe last week a Solar eclipse was the first to have a significant impact on the power system.

The shadowed area was estimated to have about 90 Gigawatts of solar power and production temporarily decreased by up to 34 GW compared to a clear sky day. The temperature was calculated to have decreased by 3°C.
