A German graphic designer called Matthias Jung uses Photoshop to “overcome reality”. He joins his own photographs with incongruous objects and challenges perceptions of space and structure. He thinks they are like dreams.
‘On the Way to Kamchatka’ (above, left) has a sheep on the roof, symbolising reconciliation with nature. ‘Expedition to the East Pole’ uses an image of his grandmother’s tea-cosy.
